Also Appearing: Barry Laminack
When Landry hits the stage you can expect an instantaneously likable, high energy, and rapid fire comedic entity with dimples, and something like a jheri curl. His material is drawn from everyday life situations, and is a hybrid of character work, storytelling and one liner jabs to the pancreas. His “crossover” comedy style appeals to people from all walks of life, age groups, and ethnic backgrounds.
He started his comedy career in the fall of 2006, and has since then been dedicating himself to the honing, and growth of this expressive art form.
A year into the game Landry auditioned for TVone’s hit show “Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes?” An impressive showing at the Uptown Comedy Club in Atlanta earned him a place on season 3. The following year Landry won the Atlanta GA Punchline’s 64 comedian, “Super Comedy Contest” solidifying his place as an up and coming comedian. Additionally, Landry can be heard on XM Satellite radio and was recently a finalist in the 2010 Yuk Yuk’s Great Canadian Laugh-off.
